Volunteers mean the world to us.
There are so many ways to volunteer with The Bright Side Family. We have a few examples listed here, but if you have an idea we haven't thought of, get in touch and let us know!
Friendly Visits.
Simply put, these volunteers visit with our residents. Walk with a resident around the premises. Talk about politics, current events, the theater, or books. Play trivia, Scrabble, cards, or a board game. Host bingo. Bring your favorite aromatherapy oils to share. Paint our female residents' nails. If you can think of it, chances are our residents will enjoy it!
Bring Your Certified Pet.
Our residents love visits from animals! Contact us to learn more, and don't forget to bring a valid certification for your pet.
Holiday Volunteers.
Bright Side doesn't close on holidays. While some of our residents spend holidays with their families, many residents remain at Bright Side. If you're looking for a special way to spend Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year's Day, or any other holiday, remember that Bright Side has meaningful volunteer opportunities for you.
Performances.
Can you sing, dance, or play a musical instrument? Our residents love to be entertained! Contact us to set something up!
